The oil aerosols in the machining chamber of the machine tool are extracted and fed from the inside through the coalescer element. In this process, the oil droplets coalesce on the filter fleece. The oil then collects in the base tray from where it is returned through the oil drain hose and the diaphragm valve to the oil tank of the machine tool. When the oil in the oil drain hose reaches a level of 500 mm, the diaphragm valve is opened to maintain the underpressure in the filter housing. The cleaned air is extracted by a high-pressure fan and released at the top of the unit through a silencer. Suitable for not water-mixable cooling lubricants (cutting, grinding, drilling oil) and oil aerosols from machine tools, as well as water-mixable cooling lubricants.
